Queretaro

Queretaro's official name is Estado Libre y Soberano de Queretaro de Arteaga It means a  Free and Sovereign State of Queretaro de Arteaga. It is   one of the 31 states which, with the Federal District, comprise the 32 Federal Entities of Mexico. It is divided into 18 municipalities and its capital city is Santiago de Queretaro.

It is located in North-Central Mexico, in a region known as el Bajio. It is bordered by the states of San Luis Potosi to the north, Guanajuato to the west, Hidalgo to the east, Mexico to the southeast and Michoacan to the southwest.

1.   How to go there?

(1)   Mexico Norte Bus Terminal

You may take a bus from the Mexico Norte or Tepoztlan. It will cost around USD15- USD19. It would take 2 hours and 30 minutes from Mexico Norte Bus terminal.

2.   Where to Stay>

(1)    Double tree hotel by Hilton

It is located next to the Queretaro Autobus Terminal.

(2)    Casa Inn,

It is located near the Querataro Autobus Terminal. It is located on top of the hill. And it commands a nice view.

(2)    Holiday inn

It is close to the La Plaza De Parque.

3.   Where to Eat?

(1)  Cheongsachorong

It is a very small Korean restaurant in La Plaza de Parque. The foods was already changed into the Chinese style.

4.    Where to go?

(1)   Al Lameda de Hidalgo

It is a very big and beautiful garden in Queretaro

4.   Where to buy?

(1)  Walmart

It is located in the central commercial area.  It is similar with the other Walmart in Mexico.

(2)  Mega Mall.

It is also located in the central commercial area.

(3) CostCo

It is located in the central commercial area. It looks like more warehouse. And the price are not always cheap.

(4) Subarbia

It is one of the most crowed cloth store. The price is reasonable and cloths seem to have good quality.
